When you were a kid, and someone at home baked a cake, what was the best part about it? If you answered “licking the beaters,” you’re not alone. Cakes are a treat, but having an adult hand you a beater covered in cake batter or frosting was one of life’s best rewards, given just because you were a kid.
And be honest—don’t you still lick the beaters if there’s no child around to take them?
This week, Aldi has a hand mixer in its Aldi Finds aisle that let’s you give the gift of licking the beaters to every home cook on your holiday shopping list without breaking the budget.
Aldi’s Ambiano Cordless Hand Mixer
Allrecipes / Aldi
Recently, Aldi offered a $50 Ambiano stand mixer that had most of the same features as the popular, over-$300 KitchenAid version. Though Aldi’s stand mixer had fewer bells and whistles, it was still a fantastic deal.
Now, the budget-friendly store is selling a $15 version of KitchenAid’s $140 cordless hand mixer, complete with detachable beaters and whisks that any kid (or adult) would be happy to clear off leftover frosting. The mixer is available in black, green, or white and includes two beaters as well as a USB charging cord. It offers three speed settings and, best of all, comes charged straight out of the box. There’s also a battery indicator light that keeps charging top of mind while you’re mixing away.
The handy cordless mixer makes mixing up cake, frosting, whipped cream, mashed potatoes, or mayonnaise a breeze. And don’t forget one of a hand mixer’s best tricks: quickly shredding chicken or turkey to use in soups, salads, and casseroles. (Imagine the pot pie possibilities after Thanksgiving!)
At $15, Aldi’s hand mixer is a no-brainer gift for any home cook on your list. It also makes a nice little treat for yourself before the holiday baking begins. The Ambiano Cordless Hand Mixer will go on sale from Oct. 29 through Nov. 4, or until sold out, so be sure to grab yours while you can.
