Dear communities impacted by Hurricane Melissa,
We’re sending care and wishes of safety and protection to our kin with roots in Jamaica, Cuba, The Bahamas, Haiti, and communities throughout the Caribbean affected by climate crisis.
We are mobilizing our community to extend mutual aid in the forms of: therapy and wellness services, peer support, logistical support services, and more.

Relief Funds to Support
We extend deep gratitude to our member Charika White, who was born and raised in Jamaica, for her guidance and leadership by creating and curating these relief funds below.

A reminder from Charika: While it’s great to bring things from the US to Jamaica or donate from the US, it’s important to always check the list of what’s actually needed. If possible, and if planning to visit the country, buying from local businesses is crucial because bulk distributors there also need the support of our dollars.
