Ikea is one of our favorite places to snag budget-friendly kitchenware, from $5 storage to $1 towels. The Swedish retailer has been rolling out some great copycats, too, such as new dishware that looks like it came from Pottery Barn. And now, Ikea is back with another great look-alike.
If you’ve been eyeing the internet-famous (and expensive) Our Place cookware, you’re in luck. Ikea just released two new pans that look awfully similar to the viral ones, but at a fraction of the cost.
Ikea’s New Klippfisk Frying and Sauté Pans

Aldi isn’t the only retailer with an Our Place copycat this month. Ikea just released two pans that look strikingly similar to the trendy cookware, especially the Our Place Always Pan, which is $135. Ikea’s new Klippfisk Frying and Sauté Pans, however, are $100 less as both pans are priced at $34.99.
While similar Our Place cookware is ceramic, both Ikea pans are aluminum cast. They come in a powder slate blue that’s reminiscent of the matte, muted colors from Our Place. The new frying pan has two spouts as well as a wooden handle. And the sauté pan comes with a glass lid so you can monitor the cooking process, as well as two spouts and strainers. In addition, the pan features a steam vent to reduce pressure so that food doesn’t boil over.
Our Place is known for its signature nonstick coating, and Ikea shoppers claim that the Klippfisk pans have a great nonstick quality, too. “I needed a new pan that was nonstick, but I did not want anything with PTFE. Works very well,” one person shared in the reviews section for the frying pan on Ikea’s website. “I also love the design, not a boring black or silver pan.”
“It’s so good. Nothing sticks to it! I want to buy the whole set of them in all sizes,” one person shared in their review of the sauté pan.
Another chimed in to say, “We love this new pan! It’s light, nonstick, and love the shape with higher sides.”
You can find the Klippfisk Frying and Sauté Pans in stores or reserve yours online for pickup. If you don’t live near an Ikea, you can also order these online for delivery. Both pans would make a great gift for this upcoming holiday season, too.
