Whether you frequent Taco Bell often or treat yourself to its Mexican-inspired food from time to time, you know that the fast food chain is no stranger to offering enticing menu items. From the revamped Y2K Decades Menu to the new Mountain Dew Baja Blast Midnight, its always keeping its customers guessing what’s coming next.
Plus, Taco Bell often partners with iconic brands to bring fan-favorite flavors and limited-edition releases. For instance, it worked with Mike’s Hot, creating a Honey Diablo Sauce that has a serious yet sweet kick to it, as well as Salt & Straw to release the Tacolate. Now, the brand has recently announced a new collab that brings some serious heat to a beloved snack.
Taco Bell and Bigs Release New Fire! Sauce Sunflower Seeds
Allrecipes / BIGS
Taco Bell and Bigs have teamed up to release the Taco Bell Fire! Sauce Sunflower Seeds. With this mouthwatering take on the iconic jumbo sunflower seeds, you can now enjoy the classic snack with Taco Bell’s spicy tomato-based hot sauce. The sauce is made with tomato puree, jalapeños, peppers, chili peppers, and onions, which provide a noticeable kick to the restaurant’s menu items.
Sunflower seeds are the perfect convenient snack, great for long days on the road or as a quick bite at the office. A new flavor only adds more excitement to snack time—and a spicy one at that. And we’re not the only ones who think so. Fans have been quick to weigh in on the new product, which has received five stars across the board so far.
“These have the right hint of spiciness, which is perfect because it doesn’t take away from the flavor of the sunflower seeds—it complements it,” one fan noted on Bigs’ website. [It’s] definitely a great combo, which I didn’t expect.”
Another wrote, “Oh my God, these taste and smell so much like Taco Bell. They’re tasty and a good value for the money.”
Our editors are also fans of the new snack. Andrea Lobas got an early preview of the collab and agrees these have the perfect level of spice and notes, “If you love zesty taco seasoning with a chile kick, you’ll love these for a different spin on snacking.”
This isn’t the first time the two brands have partnered. The duo has previously released a Taco Supreme Flavor, which features the bold spices of Taco Bell’s Taco Supreme, a crunchy taco shell filled with seasoned beef, sour cream, lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheddar cheese.
The Taco Bell Fire! Sauce Sunflower Seeds are now available in a 5.35-ounce bag for a retail price of $3.29. While you won’t be able to find this product by visiting your local Taco Bell, you can buy it on Amazon, Walmart, and on the Bigs website. If you’re looking to add some kick to your daily snack, you’ve met your perfect match.
